Terms of Service

Welcome to Ailtir (“we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ailtir software-as-a-service platform and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using our Service, you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to these Terms.

If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

Our Service is intended for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of your organisation to use Ailtir.

To use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information (including your name and email address);
• Keep your account credentials secure; and
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• Attempt to access or modify the Service's code or infrastructure;
• Use the Service to transmit unlawful or harmful content;
• Share your account credentials with unauthorised users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

If you subscribe to a paid plan, fees will be charged as described on our website or as otherwise agreed in writing. All fees are in euro (€) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Invoices are payable in accordance with the agreed payment terms.

Ailtir may modify its pricing and subscription plans from time to time. Any changes will apply to new subscriptions immediately and to existing customers at the start of their next billing cycle, following reasonable notice.

Ailtir may terminate this Agreement or any account at any time, for any reason or no reason, upon thirty (30) days’ written notice to the Customer.

Ailtir grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service solely for your internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms. This licence does not transfer any ownership rights in the Service or its underlying software. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of any part of the Service except as expressly permitted by law or with Ailtir’s prior written consent.

Ailtir retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all related intellectual property. You retain ownership of your data and any content you upload to the platform.

You grant Ailtir a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Ailtir complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect and process limited personal data (such as user name and email address) for account access and administration purposes. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle this data.

We aim to provide reliable and continuous access to the Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

You may terminate your account at any time by written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach these Terms;
• Non-payment occurs; or
• Continued operation becomes impractical (e.g., for legal or security reasons).

Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our data retention policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Ailtir shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data.
• Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the 12 months prior to the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

You agree to indemnify and hold Ailtir harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
